New York Knicks center Jericho Sims has emerged as a trade target for multiple teams ahead of the deadline. According to HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto, the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, and Milwaukee Bucks are among the teams showing interest in the 26-year-old big man.

“New York Knicks center Jericho Sims has drawn interest on the trade market from teams, including the Lakers, Clippers, and Bucks, league sources told HoopsHype,” Scotto reported.

Sims is averaging 1.6 points and 3.3 rebounds in 10.8 minutes per game this season. While his offensive production is limited, his rebounding and defensive ability make him a low-cost option for teams in need of frontcourt depth.

The Lakers, who recently landed Luka Doncic in a blockbuster trade, continue to explore roster upgrades. With their focus on building around Doncic and LeBron James, adding an athletic rim protector like Sims could help bolster their rotation.

Sims is on an expiring three-year, $5.7 million contract, making him an attractive trade asset. The Knicks, who have depth at the center position with Mitchell Robinson and Isaiah Hartenstein, could look to move him if the right offer arises.

With the trade deadline approaching, the Lakers, Clippers, and Bucks will need to decide whether to make a move for Sims or shift their focus elsewhere.
