Lottomatica Roma officially announced the extension with coach Nando Gentile for one more season. Gentile replaced Jasmin Repesa in the bench of Lottomatica.

"I am pleased to be staying here and I would like to thank the Chairman Toti for the confidence he shows in me. I am sorry that Dejan Bodiroga will not be the General Manager next season. It is still early to talk about next year's team, but i can say now that we will give the maximum in every game and do our best to please the fans." the Italian coach said.
