Frustrations are reportedly mounting within the Philadelphia 76ers organization as Joel Embiid remains sidelined due to ongoing knee issues. Despite Embiid’s best efforts to return to action, his absence continues to impact the team.

According to NBA insider Shams Charania, sources within the Sixers have expressed their frustration with Embiid’s extended absence.

“From my understanding even today from what I hear Joel Embiid remains rehabbing, continuing to try to do everything he can to get back on the floor but there have been frustrations from my understanding throughout the year of not having him there,” Charania reported.

The 76ers are currently struggling, sitting 11th in the Eastern Conference with a 15-27 record. Their struggles have left them three games behind the 10th-placed Chicago Bulls, making a postseason push difficult without their star player in the lineup.

Embiid has been limited to just 13 appearances this season due to persistent knee issues. When on the floor, the 30-year-old has been a dominant force, averaging 24.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 3.8 assists in 29.5 minutes per game. However, his frequent absences have left the team scrambling to find consistency.

The lack of Embiid has been especially challenging for a 76ers team already dealing with a mix of injuries and roster changes. With their star player unable to lead the charge, Philadelphia has struggled to find momentum and has fallen behind in the playoff race.
