Nets suffer worst loss in franchise history, 126-67 to Clippers

What more can be said when the Nets trailed by as many as 64 points and broke a franchise record for most lopsided loss in team history?

The previous record was a 52 point defeat against Houston in 1978.

Brooklyn played without Ben Simmons, DeAngelo Russell, Cam Johnson and Cam Thomas, among others.

Noah Clowney was ejected in the third quarter and Jordi Fernandez received a technical with frustrations boiling over.

James Harden, Norman Powell and Kawhi Leonard rested on the bench in the second half while the Nets struggled through a miserable night.

The Nets stay in Los Angeles and will face the Lakers on Friday.
