In an article for The Miami Herald, Barry Jackson highlights that the Heat’s recent road victories over Golden State, Utah, and Portland demonstrate that the team has not lost its momentum in Jimmy Butler’s absence.
Despite facing adversity, Miami has continued to perform at a high level.
Haywood Highsmith expressed that “the vibes are great” within the team, and Tyler Herro shared his thoughts on the team’s renewed sense of purpose, saying, “Just rallying around each other, making it about the guys that are here now, the guys that are in this locker room. We’ve got enough, and that’s all that matters.”
Herro emphasized that the team’s focus has shifted toward unity, with everyone contributing and embracing their roles.
“This is what we wanted to get back on the road, get away from all the chaos and come out here and compete and get back to who we are and get to our identity,” Herro explained.
Butler has played 14 seasons for 4 teams, including the Bulls. He has averaged 18.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists in 836 regular-season games.
He was selected to play in 6 All-Star games and has won 1 Most Improved Player award.
