Utah Jazz assistant coach Igor Kokoskov has been named as the new coach of the Slovenian national side, the Federation announced.
The 44-year-old Kokoskov has had numerous assistant coaching roles in the NBA, most notably with Los Angeles Clippers, Detroit Pistons, Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers and the Orlando Magic.
Kokoskov has also been the had coach of Georgia from 2008 until the summer of 2015.
The details of his contract with Slovenia have not yet been disclosed.
