The Phoenix Suns (9-7) are poised to welcome back Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal for their NBA Cup matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers (10-6) tonight.

NBA insider Shams Charania reported that both stars are cleared to play following significant time away due to injuries.

Durant has been sidelined since November 8 with a left calf strain, the same issue he managed earlier this year while preparing for the Paris Olympics.

Beal sustained his calf injury on November 12 during a game against the Utah Jazz. Both players completed consecutive full practices ahead of their anticipated return.

The Suns have struggled in Durant’s absence, going 1-6 without the two-time NBA Finals MVP. Before his injury, the 36-year-old was delivering MVP-level performances, averaging 27.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, and shooting 53.3% from the field. His contributions helped Phoenix to an 8-1 start to the season.

Beal, a three-time All-Star, also expressed optimism about his recovery process. The 31-year-old guard, averaging 17.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.7 assists, is eager to rejoin his teammates and regain early-season momentum.

Phoenix aims to reclaim its early-season form with Durant and Beal back in the lineup. Their availability will provide much-needed support as the Suns seek to establish consistency in a competitive Western Conference.
