ratiopharm Ulm’s Per Günther took centre stage as Team National beat Team International 128-118 in the Beko BBL All-Star game in Bamberg.

It was the National Team’s first ever win against a stacked International unit.

Günther led the Nationals with 21 points, which included five triples and four assists as the Germans started slowly, but pulled away in the third quarter in front of a sell out crowd.

Bayern Munich’s Nihad Djedovic added 18 points and big man Johannes Voigtmann of Fraport Frankfurt Skyliners amassed 17 points, eight assists and five boards, shooting 72 percent from the field.

Ludwigsburg’s Jon Brockton led all scorers for the International Team with 23 points.

Tubingen Tigers’ Garlon Green captured the Beko BBL slam dunk title, making up for his viral put back in his own basket in mid-December
