The Chicago Bulls defeated the Atlanta Hawks 125-113 on Saturday night, snapping a four-game losing streak. After trailing by as many as 18 points, the Bulls launched a 14-3 run in the fourth quarter to seize control, securing their first victory in five games.
Ayo Dosunmu led Chicago with 19 points off the bench, followed by Nikola Vucevic, who posted a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Zach LaVine and Coby White each scored 18 points, contributing to a balanced offensive effort that saw six Bulls players reach double figures.
The Bulls shot an efficient 50% from the field, making 46 of their 92 shot attempts, and held Atlanta to 46.1% shooting. Chicago’s accuracy proved critical in the fourth quarter, where they hit 9 of 16 shots while the Hawks managed just 6 of 20.
Trae Young, who registered his third consecutive double-double, tallied 14 points and 16 assists for Atlanta. However, his performance was not enough to prevent the Hawks from dropping their second straight game.
Clint Capela and Jalen Johnson each scored 20 points, but Atlanta struggled to maintain their early momentum after outscoring Chicago 37-24 in the first quarter.
Chicago’s bench made a crucial impact, with players like Dosunmu, Jalen Smith, and Dalen Terry stepping up in critical moments.
Despite the loss, the Hawks received strong outings from Johnson, who hit three of his six three-point attempts, and No. 1 pick Zaccharie Risacher, who scored 17 points. Atlanta’s bench added support with contributions from Onyeka Okongwu and Garrison Mathews, but their combined effort was unable to prevent the Bulls’ comeback.
The Bulls improved to 4-6, while the Hawks, now 4-7, will look to regroup after a challenging stretch of games.
