GM values Vucevic modestly; Bulls may prioritize his trade

Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report recently discussed Nikola Vucevic’s trade value with an NBA general manager, asking what kind of assets the GM would consider giving up to acquire the Bulls’ veteran center.

The GM responded that he’d be willing to offer “a couple of” second-round picks, reflecting a cautious approach to Vucevic’s market worth.

This modest valuation aligns with the sentiment that Vucevic’s trade appeal may be somewhat limited compared to other high-profile players.

Fischer further pointed out that dealing Vucevic during the season appears more realistic for Chicago than attempting to trade Zach LaVine, whose larger contract and specific role on the team would likely complicate any in-season negotiations.

This insight suggests that while the Bulls may have opportunities to move Vucevic in the coming months, finding a suitable trade partner for LaVine may prove to be a more complex challenge.
