Prior to his G League appearance, James will be listed on the Lakers’ NBA roster for their Friday night game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Following the NBA matchup, he will rejoin the South Bay Lakers for their Saturday contest, beginning a schedule that will involve movement between both leagues.
As he settles into his dual-role setup, James will initially participate only in home games for South Bay. This arrangement allows him to gain experience and development in the G League while remaining accessible to the NBA roster, allowing flexibility as he transitions between the two levels.
