The Los Angeles Lakers may face the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night with a potentially shorthanded lineup as three key starters — Anthony Davis, Austin Reaves, and D’Angelo Russell — are listed on the team’s injury report.

Currently standing at 4-3, the Lakers are seeking to maintain momentum against the Grizzlies, who sit at 4-4. However, the injury concerns could force Los Angeles to adjust its lineup and strategy for the road game.

Davis, averaging a career-high 32.6 points, along with 11.6 rebounds and 3 assists per game, is officially listed as questionable due to a left heel contusion. He has been instrumental for the Lakers this season, consistently anchoring their offense and defense. His absence or limited playtime could impact the Lakers’ performance on both ends of the floor.

Reaves is listed as probable with a right ankle sprain. Reaves, who has contributed 17.3 points, 5 rebounds, and 4.9 assists in an average of 35.1 minutes per game, has emerged as a reliable scorer and playmaker.

Russell is also probable with a right foot contusion. Russell has been averaging 12 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 6.1 assists in 31.3 minutes per game.

In addition to these key players, several other Lakers players remain out, including Jalen Hood-Schifino, Maxwell Lewis, and Armel Traore, who are on G League assignments. Christian Wood and Jarred Vanderbilt are still sidelined as they recover from surgeries.

For the Grizzlies, key players like Desmond Bane and Marcus Smart are confirmed out, with additional players questionable or doubtful, adding complexity to the matchup.
