Atlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson worked extremely hard following his short stint at Duke University to show the world who he really is (just signed a five-year, $150 million extension).

Lauren L. Williams: “If you could describe this moment to yourself 5 years ago about what it’s all going to entail, what would you say to that younger Jalen?”
Johnson: “Honestly, I wouldn’t even have imagined this. There was a point in time in college when the whole world was against me and all these narratives, and just me working every day to defeat those narratives and show people who I really am. I’ve done that up to this point, and it’s been great to really see everything come about.”
