Ludwigsburg bring in Kerron Johnson

MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg fortified its backcourt ahead of the Eurocup Last 32 by bringing back point guard Kerron Johnson, who played for the team last season.

The sides agreed to a two-month deal that can be extended for the remainder of the season. Johnson (1.85 meters, 25 years old) started the season in France with Rouen Basket, for whom he averaged 7.6 points and 3.1 assists in 15 games.

He averaged 14.4 points and 3.9 assists for Ludwigsburg last season and debuted for the team this season on Wednesday night with 10 points and 7 assists off the bench in a victory over Crailsheim Merlins.

Johnson started his professional career in the Australian League with the New Zealand Breakers in 2013.
