Here’s new Philadelphia 76er Guerschon Yabusele on how he’s grown as a player since getting waived by the Boston Celtics back in 2019.
(via Austin Krell):
Reporter: “Could you just talk about the strides you’ve made as a player since the last time you were in the NBA? Where you’ve made your biggest strides?”
Yabusele: “In general, me as a player, I learned a lot being able to compete in Real Madrid but also with the (French) national team. Everything I’ve done that I didn’t have when I was with the Celtics as a young player, I just learned a lot about the game: the IQ of the game, the movement, shooting, be aggressive, being able to have the ball in my hands and make decisions. I really got better in all of those points, and of course the shot, the shot got better, too. I play with more energy now and I can control the game more than when I was able to do when I was with the Celtics.”
