The Sacramento Kings have signed guard Justin Powell to an Exhibit 10 deal. The news was first reported by NBA insider Michael Scotto via X.
Powell joins the Kings after spending last season with the Cleveland Charge in the NBA G League.
He averaged 6.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game for the Charge.
Powell had previously signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers before being waived in October 2023.
Before joining the G League, Powell played in the 2023 NBA Summer League with the Miami Heat.
He went undrafted in the 2023 NBA Draft after declaring following his junior season at Washington State.
At Washington State, Powell posted 10.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game during his final collegiate season.
Prior to that, Powell played at Auburn and Tennessee, where he also showed potential.
The Exhibit 10 deal allows the Kings to convert Powell’s contract into a two-way deal if he performs well.
