Indianapolis Colts linebacker Zaire Franklin has voiced his admiration for WNBA Rookie of the Year favorite Caitlin Clark. Franklin, who set a Colts’ single-season tackle record last year, expressed his respect for Clark’s professionalism and passion for the game.

“I respect Caitlin just for her hunger for the game,” Franklin told Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson Scoop B Radio. “When you watch her, see her, listen to her speak, you know she wants to win. Since she came in she has been nothing but a professional.”

Franklin, known for his impressive performance last season with 179 tackles, also lauded Clark’s impact in the Hoosier State. “I think the WNBA is just in a moment right now,” he added.

Clark, currently averaging 18.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 8.4 assists per game, has captured significant attention this season. The Fever have secured their playoff spot, adding to the buzz surrounding Clark’s rookie campaign.

Franklin, who will lead the Colts in their season opener against the Houston Texans, is also a fan of other WNBA players like Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky. “Rightfully so with Caitlin, Angel, and the rest of the girls doing their thing,” he said.
