The Philadelphia 76ers have signed Jared Brownridge to an Exhibit-10 contract, according to NBA insider Michael Scotto.
Brownridge, who has been with the Delaware Blue Coats for the past seven seasons, is set to join the Sixers as they continue to build their roster for the upcoming season.
Last season, the 29-year-old guard averaged 9.5 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 24.9 minutes per game for the Blue Coats.
Brownridge has had a long career, beginning with his standout performance in college.
At Santa Clara University, he was a three-time All-Conference selection and finished as the school’s second-leading scorer with 2,313 points.
After going undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft, Brownridge signed with Italian team Pallacanestro Mantovana.
He later joined the Delaware 87ers, now known as the Blue Coats, in March 2018.
During the 2018-19 season, he averaged 15.9 points per game.
In the 2019-20 season, he averaged 15.3 points per game and shooting 38.5 percent from beyond the arc.
He re-signed with the 76ers on October 14, 2021, but was waived shortly after.
On December 26, 2022, he rejoined the Blue Coats and played a crucial role in helping the team win the NBA G League title.
Brownridge was signed again by the 76ers on October 21, 2023, but was waived the same day.
Just eight days later, he returned to the Blue Coats, continuing his journey in the G League.
Now, with his new Exhibit-10 contract, Brownridge has another opportunity to prove himself at the NBA level.
The Exhibit-10 contract gives him a chance to earn a spot on the 76ers’ regular-season roster or to join the Blue Coats with a bonus.
