The Philadelphia 76ers have announced the signing forward Max Fiedler. According to Austin Krell, the deal is an Exhibit 10 contract.
Fiedler, who played in the NBA 2K25 Summer League with the 76ers, averaged 2.0 points and 2.5 rebounds in two games.
Before joining the 76ers, Fiedler spent five seasons at Rice University, where he was a standout player.
Last season, the 23-year-old forward averaged 9.3 points, 9.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 29.9 minutes per game for Rice.
The Florida native concluded his collegiate career as Rice’s all-time leader in rebounds (1,144), assists (571), field-goal percentage (65.8%), games played (148), and games started (135).
He also ranked second in total blocked shots (125) and made NCAA Division I history in his final season.
Fiedler became the first player to record 1,000 career points, 1,000 rebounds, 500 assists, 100 blocks, and 100 steals.
The Exhibit 10 contract allows the 76ers to evaluate Fiedler’s potential and consider him for a regular season roster spot.
