Omer Yurtseven joins Panathinaikos

Panathinaikos Athens has announced the signing of Omer Yurtseven on a one-year contract with an option for an additional season.

The 26-year-old center returns to the EuroLeague after spending the last three seasons in the NBA.

Yurtseven averaged 4.6 points and 4.3 rebounds per game for the Utah Jazz in the 2023-24 season.

He previously played for the Miami Heat, appearing in 65 games over two seasons.

Yurtseven’s move to Panathinaikos marks his return to European competition, where he previously played for Fenerbahce Istanbul.

His stint with Fenerbahce included 11 games during the 2014-15 and 2015-16 EuroLeague seasons.
