AS Monaco general manager Oleksiy Yefimov has revealed the return date for the team’s star player, Mike James, following his recent surgery.
James is expected to rejoin the team at their training camp around the second week of September, according to Yefimov.
The guard underwent minor back surgery this summer to address issues that affected him during last season’s playoffs.
Yefimov expressed optimism that the surgery would resolve the discomfort James experienced, allowing him to perform at his best in the upcoming season.
Last season, James averaged 17.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game.
His performance earned him the MVP title of the EuroLeague, further solidifying his importance to Monaco’s roster.
James’ return to training in September is a positive sign for Monaco as they prepare for another competitive season.
The star guard’s ability to contribute on both ends of the floor makes him a key asset for the team.
