Kevin Durant on Steph Curry vs. Serbia: “It was God talking through him tonight”

In the epic semifinal between Serbia and the United States at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, Team USA made a historic comeback to win 95-91.

Serbia was led by Bogdan Bogdanovic with 20 points, and Nikola Jokic added 17 points and 11 assists. Aleksa Avramovic scored 15 points for the Serbian side.

Curry’s contributions were pivotal, especially in the first quarter, where he scored 17 of the team’s first 20 points.

Durant praised Curry’s energy and shooting, noting, “He had 17 in that first quarter, 17 of our first 20 points. His energy was high, he was turning around shooting the ball.”

The Phoenix Suns superstar highlighted the significance of Curry’s performance at a crucial moment. “It was just a regular Steph game. To have it right here, especially when we needed it, was special to see,” Durant added.
