The Indiana Pacers sign draft pick Enrique Freeman to a two-way contract, according to NBA insider Shams Charania.
Freeman, selected 50th overall, has transitioned from a walk-on at the University of Akron to a standout player in the Mid-American Conference.
The 24-year-old power forward averaged 18.6 points and 12.9 rebounds per game last season for Akron.
Freeman’s impressive college performance has earned him a spot with the Pacers as he begins his NBA career.
