If you haven’t bought into the Cooper Flagg hype yet, it’s time. NBA star Jaime Jaquez Jr. told TMZ Sports that after playing with Flagg this summer, the phenom is the real deal.
Flagg, the No. 1-ranked high school player in the 2024 class, teamed up with Jaquez Jr. to prep Team USA for the Olympics in July. In the Las Vegas gym, Flagg repeatedly scored against LeBron James, Steph Curry, and others.
When TMZ Sports caught up with Jaquez Jr. at LAX, he added more fuel to the hype surrounding the 6-foot-9, 17-year-old.
“He’s an incredible talent,” the Miami Heat forward said of Flagg. “Incredible player. Great person.”
