Warriors won’t trade Brandin Podziemski for Lauri Markkanen

According to Marc Stein of The Stein Line, the Golden State Warriors are still reluctant to trade Brandin Podziemski for Lauri Markkanen. They haven’t included Podziemski or Jonathan Kuminga in any offers; instead, they are proposing deals involving Moses Moody and draft picks.

Markkanen, eligible for a contract renegotiation on Tuesday, can’t be traded for six months if he signs an extension, making him ineligible for a trade during the 2024-25 season if the extension starts on Wednesday.
