Kevin Durant expressed his excitement about his summer debut in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, where he helped Team USA secure a 26-point victory over Serbia.
Durant led the team with 23 points on 8-of-9 shooting, contributing significantly to the Americans’ 110-84 win.
“It felt amazing. My lungs were oof, they went through it, but the more I play, the better I feel, man,” Durant said about his performance.
Durant also credited his teammates for their role in his successful outing, saying, “I just credit that to my teammates, swinging me the ball, finding me when I’m open, cutting for me to get open, screening for me.”
He highlighted his perfect shooting in the first half, noting, “It’s on me to finish,” acknowledging the support he received from the team.
Durant’s return to form is a positive sign for Team USA as they advance through the tournament with high expectations.
The game marked a significant moment for Durant, who was previously sidelined by a calf injury, as he showcased his scoring prowess and readiness for the Olympic competition.
