Rokas Jokubaitis leaves Barcelona

Rokas Jokubaitis has officially parted ways with FC Barcelona after three years with the team.

The Lithuanian point guard’s contract with Barcelona was set to expire in June 2025, but both parties agreed to end the relationship early.

Jokubaitis, who joined Barcelona from Zalgiris Kaunas in the summer of 2021, played a total of 244 games with the club.

During his tenure, he featured in the Liga Endesa, EuroLeague, Copa del Rey, Supercopa, and Liga Catalana.

In his debut season, Jokubaitis was named the EuroLeague’s Best Young Player.

He contributed to Barcelona’s victories, including a Liga Endesa title in 2023 and a Copa del Rey in 2022.

The point guard is now drawing interest from Maccabi Tel Aviv and his former team, Zalgiris Kaunas.

Barcelona expressed their gratitude for Jokubaitis’s efforts and wished him success in his future endeavors.
