Serbian national team fans received encouraging news as Miami Heat forward Nikola Jovic remains a potential participant in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
According to Ira Winderman, Jovic is making progress in his rehabilitation and could still compete in the Paris Games.
Jovic, who sprained his ankle during a workout at Kaseya Center, is still listed on the Serbia roster for the upcoming Olympics.
The 21-year-old averaged 7.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2 assists in 19.5 minutes per game for the Heat last season.
Serbia, led by three-time MVP Nikola Jokic, will enter the Olympics in Group C, facing teams from Puerto Rico, South Sudan, and the United States.
Jovic’s potential inclusion could provide a significant boost to Serbia’s campaign in the prestigious international tournament.
