•    The majority of two rows of the court-side seats were sold out to CSKA fans, something very usual for a Final Four.
•    Olympiacos’ Yannis Bouroussis had an unexpected encounter with a Panathinaikos fan on his way to the locker rooms after the end of the 3rd place game. Fortunately the stewards came in between them before anything more serious happened.
•    After the end of the title game Panathinaikos vice-president Thanasis Yannakopoulos threw all the money he had on him in one of the refs face, Arteaga from Spain to show his dissatisfaction for the game’s poor officiating.
•    Many National Teams coaches could be seen sitting in the stands. Most prominent of them were Jonas Kazlauskas of Greece and Dusan Ivkovic of Serbia.
•    The Junior Team of FMP was awarded in a special ceremony for winning the title in the Junior Tournament which also took place in Berlin. They even performed their, traditional by now, dance in the centre of the O2 Arena, the same like last season when they won it again.
•    Panathinaikos coach Zeljko Obradovic stormed out of a live interview for a Greek TV station because he was dissatisfied by the 1st question asked by the Greek reporter.
•    Zeljko Obradovic dedicated the title to Panathinaikos president Pavlos Yannakopoulos who had to stay behind in Athens because of health problems.
•    When the Olympiacos-Barcelona was decided in the dying minutes Panathinaikos fans started cheering for Olympiacos out of the blue, something which Olympiakos centre Ioannis Bouroussis didn’t appreciate too much and promised to see them again in 10 days when the Greek A1 finals will start.
