Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors may begin discussions on a new contract extension to keep him with the team for his entire career. Curry’s current four-year, $215.3 million extension, signed in 2021, expires after the 2025-26 season.
Curry is eligible for a one-year extension for the 2026-27 season worth approximately $62.6 million, limited by the CBA’s over-38 rule. The Warriors have until October 21st to finalize this extension or revisit it in the 2025 offseason.
Mike Dunleavy expressed confidence that Curry will remain a Warrior for life, stating, “That guy can get whatever he wants.” Extension talks with Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody are also expected to pick up.
