Free agent forward KJ Martin has agreed to a two-year, $16 million deal to return to the Philadelphia 76ers, as reported by NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski.
Martin was initially acquired by the 76ers on November 1, 2023, in a trade that also brought Marcus Morris Sr., Nicolas Batum, and Robert Covington from the Clippers in exchange for James Harden, P.J. Tucker, and Filip Petrusev.
The trade included the Clippers sending a first-round pick, two second-round picks, a pick swap, and cash considerations to the 76ers, while also dealing a pick swap and cash considerations to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
This past season, Martin appeared in 58 games for the 76ers, averaging 3.7 points and 2.2 rebounds in 12.3 minutes per game.
