Real Madrid has bolstered its roster with the signing of Xavier Rathan-Mayes on a two-year contract.
The 30-year-old Canadian guard joins Real Madrid after an impressive stint with Enisey in the VTB United League, where he led the league in scoring with an average of 25.4 points per game. Additionally, Rathan-Mayes ranked among the top 10 in assists, averaging 4.5 per game.
A product of Florida State University, Rathan-Mayes brings a wealth of international experience to Real Madrid. His professional journey spans multiple continents, including stops in the NBA with the Memphis Grizzlies and various European leagues such as Greece’s AEK Athens, Israel’s Bnei Herzliya, and Turkey’s Yukatel Merkezefendi.
Having also showcased his skills in Australia with the Illawarra Hawks and Melbourne United, Rathan-Mayes is poised to make his mark in the prestigious EuroLeague with Real Madrid this season.
