The Charlotte Hornets have made roster moves by waiving Davis Bertans and Aleksej Pokusevski.
Bertans, an eight-year NBA veteran acquired from the Oklahoma City Thunder, shot 38 percent from beyond the arc last season.
Despite his shooting prowess, Bertans had a partial guarantee on his Hornets contract.
During the past season, Bertans averaged 8.8 points in 20.8 minutes per game for Charlotte.
Meanwhile, the Hornets also waived Pokusevski, a former first-round pick acquired from the Thunder.
Pokusevski, known for his versatility, averaged 7.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 19.2 minutes per game this past season.
