The Miami Heat have secured veteran guard/forward Alec Burks for the upcoming season, as confirmed by NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski.
Burks, aged 32, joins the Heat on a one-year deal after previously being on a lucrative three-year, $30 million contract.
Last season, Burks split his time between the Detroit Pistons and the New York Knicks, where he averaged 10.4 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.
Burks brings a wealth of experience to Miami, having played for multiple NBA teams throughout his career, including the Utah Jazz, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Golden State Warriors.
