According to sources cited by Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports, the Utah Jazz engaged in trade talks with the Atlanta Hawks concerning Trae Young and Dejounte Murray. They also explored a trade with the Brooklyn Nets before Mikal Bridges.
The Jazz aimed to acquire one or two co-stars around Lauri Markkanen to target Paul George in free agency later. Last Friday, the Hawks traded Murray to the New Orleans Pelicans.
