The Regular Season of the FIBA Europe Cup came to a conclusion on Wednesday evening, with the Round of 32 participants confirmed.

Coming into the final night of Regular Season action, there were a number of spots in the Round of 32 still to be filled, with additional intrigue as to who would be the two best third-placed teams from each of the two conferences to also advance.

The biggest interest was in Group C, with all teams still holding realistic ambitions of moving on in the competition. However, with their 86-64 loss to Telenet Oostende at home, it was Falco Szombathely who would miss out on a spot in the next round. Despite also losing, 76-71 to Varese, Sodertalje Kings went through as one of the two best third-placed teams in Conference 1.

Boras Basket (3-3) from Conference 1, along with Lukoil Academic (4-2) and Juventus Utena (3-3) from Conference 2, were the other three best-finishing third-placed teams.

The Round of 32 will commence following a one week break. The format of the Round of 32 follows that of the Regular Season, with each team playing the other three teams in their respective groups in a home-and-away format.
