After two years with the Chicago Bulls, center Andre Drummond is returning to the Philadelphia 76ers, a team he previously played for during the 2021-22 season.
NBA insider Shams Charania reported that Drummond intends to sign a lucrative two-year deal worth over $10 million with the 76ers.
Drummond’s return to Philadelphia marks a reunion with the team where he made an impact earlier in his career.
During the past season with the Bulls, Drummond showcased his rebounding prowess, averaging 8.4 points and 9 rebounds in just over 17 minutes per game.
The 76ers’ decision to sign Drummond is aimed at bolstering their frontcourt depth for the upcoming season.
Drummond’s experience and skills as a rebounder will complement the 76ers’ roster alongside Joel Embiid.
