The Phoenix Suns are exploring options to strengthen their point guard position, with Chris Paul, Kyle Lowry, and Monte Morris among the prominent targets.

Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports reported that the Suns have shown interest in these guards for potential minimum salary deals.

Paul, who played a crucial role for the Warriors last season, is a significant contender for a Suns reunion if he is waived by Golden State.

At 39, Paul averaged 9.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 6.8 assists in 26.4 minutes per game for the Warriors.

The Warriors and Paul have agreed to extend the deadline to guarantee his contract for the next season, providing some flexibility.

Lowry, who joined the Philadelphia 76ers at the trade deadline, averaged 8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists in 28.4 minutes per game.

Now an unrestricted free agent, the 38-year-old guard could be a valuable addition for the Suns.

Morris, finished last season with the the Minnesota Timberwolves, averaged 5.1 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 15.1 minutes per game.

At 29, Morris is also an unrestricted free agent and offers a younger alternative to Paul and Lowry.
