The Los Angeles Lakers have signed French forward Armel Traore to a two-way NBA contract, according to NBA insider Shams Charania.
Traore, 21, showcased his talents in the French top division, LNB Pro A, averaging 10.8 points and 7.3 rebounds per game during his most recent season with Blois.
His career has seen stints with various French clubs, including Pole Federal, Monaco, Evreux, Boulougne-Levallois, before landing with Blois.
With his two-way contract, Traore will have opportunities to contribute both in the NBA and with the Lakers’ G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers.
