Zalgiris Kaunas has bolstered its roster by signing small forward Matt Mitchell from Besiktas, where he competed in the EuroCup and Turkish League.
The Lithuanian club announced the acquisition of the 25-year-old American under a “1+1” contract.
In the EuroCup, Mitchell averaged 12.5 points, 4.9 rebounds per game. His stats in the Turkish League were also solid, averaging 10.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2 assists per game.
Mitchell, who went undrafted in 2021, started his professional career with Strasbourg SIG in France before joining Besiktas in 2023.
Earlier this offseason, Zalgiris finalized a deal with Deividas Sirvydis.
