Anadolu Efes has officially announced the departure of one of the team’s leaders, Will Clyburn.
Clyburn, a 34-year-old small forward, played a pivotal role in the team over the last two years. He joined Anadolu Efes following their back-to-back EuroLeague titles in 2021 and 2022.
Clyburn’s career highlights include winning the EuroLeague championship and Final Four MVP in 2019 with CSKA Moscow.
This past season, he averaged 14.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2 assists in 28.3 minutes per game.
Anadolu Efes will now focus on rebuilding and preparing for the next season without one of their key players.
