Last season, Draymond Green found himself embroiled in drama after hitting teammate Jordan Poole in the face during a preseason scrimmage. While Green wasn’t suspended, he felt ashamed and deliberately arrived late to team meetings and events.

Green opened up about his feelings on The Draymond Green Show, admitting, “I was so embarrassed to be around our team last year with JP still on the team that I came to everything late… I was probably late last season 20 times and I just paid the fine.”

The incident caused tension within the Warriors locker room, with Green feeling uncomfortable in the presence of Poole following the altercation.

Despite the discomfort, Green remained an integral part of the Warriors’ lineup last season, showcasing his defensive prowess and leadership on the court.
