The Philadelphia 76ers are eyeing a potential move for Paul George this offseason, according to sources around the NBA.

Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer reported that league insiders see the Sixers as serious contenders for George’s signature.

Despite George turning 34, his versatile skill set makes him an attractive target for Philadelphia. With the 76ers seeking another star player to complement their roster, George fits the bill perfectly.

According to O’Connor, George’s ability to seamlessly transition between MVP-level performances and complementary roles makes him an ideal fit for Philadelphia’s needs.

The 76ers view George as their top priority in free agency. Philadelphia can offer George a lucrative deal worth up to four years and $212 million.

While the Los Angeles Clippers can match this offer, they have yet to present George with a contract exceeding what they offered Kawhi Leonard.

During the past season, George averaged 22.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game for the Clippers.
