NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski has disclosed that Kristaps Porzingis is eyeing a comeback for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

According to Wojnarowski, Porzingis could make his return to the court as soon as Game 4 on Monday, marking a significant development in his recovery from a right calf injury.

“When this series returns to Indiana, I’m told that Porzingis could return as soon as Game 4 on Monday,” Wojnarowski said. “The Celtics are certainly not going to rush him.

“Game 4 on Monday would be about a month from when he went out April 30th against the Heat, missed the entire Cleveland series with that right calf injury. But he is progressing and there is momentum that he will return in this series and it could be as soon as Game 4 Monday in Indiana.”

Porzingis has been sidelined since April 30th, missing the entire series against the Cleveland Cavaliers due to the injury.

The potential return of Porzingis adds depth to the Pacers’ lineup and provides a boost to their frontcourt presence.

Despite missing Porzingis, the Celtics opened the Eastern Conference Finals with an overtime win over the Indiana Pacers.
