Rudy Gobert slapped with $75K fine for “money” gesture after offensive foul in Game 4

The NBA has levied a hefty $75,000 fine against Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert for his “inappropriate and unprofessional” gesture during Game 4 of the conference semifinals playoff series against the Denver Nuggets.

Gobert’s history of improper conduct toward game officials was taken into account when determining the fine.

The incident occurred in the fourth quarter of the Timberwolves’ 115-107 loss to the Nuggets, following an offensive foul call against Gobert for pushing Jamal Murray.

As Gobert walked back to his team’s half of the court, he made the “money” gesture.
