The Milwaukee Bucks star Karl-Anthony Towns has been awarded the 2023-24 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Social Justice Champion Award for his dedication to social justice initiatives, including his role in passing Minnesota’s Restore the Vote bill.
Towns will be honored before Friday’s Game 3 against the Denver Nuggets. Other finalists for the award included Bam Adebayo, CJ McCollum, Lindy Waters III, and Russell Westbrook.
