Jalen Brunson drops 41 points, leads Knicks to series win over 76ers

Jalen Brunson dropped 41 points along with 12 assists to lead the New York Knicks to a thrilling 118-115 win over the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 6, clinching the series 4-2.

With this win, the Knicks advance to the Eastern Conference semifinals, where they will face the Indiana Pacers.

Brunson received support from Donte DiVincenzo who had 23 points and seven assists, OG Anunoby with 19 points and nine rebounds, and Josh Hart, who notched 16 points and grabbed 14 rebounds.

Isaiah Hartenstein was close to double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds. New York’s bench scored that five points in total.

Despite a spirited effort from the Sixers, led by MVP Joel Embiid’s 39 points and 13 rebounds, the Knicks proved to be too much to handle.

Buddy Hield contributed 20 off the bench for Philadelphia, while Tyrse Maxey and Kelly Oubre Jr. added 17 each. Nicolas Batum was also notable with 16 points off the bench,
