Following the Los Angeles Lakers’ 114-103 defeat against the Denver Nuggets in Game 1 of the Western Conference playoffs, Lakers head coach Darvin Ham expressed optimism despite the loss.

Despite a strong effort from LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the Lakers fell short against the Nuggets’ resilient performance led by Nikola Jokic.

Reflecting on the game, Ham emphasized the positives from the Lakers’ performance, noting the team’s efforts on both ends of the court. While the loss is disappointing, he believes it serves as a learning opportunity for the team to regroup and come back stronger in Game 2.

“I truly believe this is still gonna be a hard fought series… It’s a matter of going back to the drawing board. We did a lot of good things out there tonight,” he said after the game.
