Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James showered praise on Denver Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic, labeling him as “one of the best players to ever play this game.”
Ahead of their first-round playoff showdown, James commends Jokic’s versatility and leadership, highlighting his ability to elevate his teammates’ performance.
“He’s one of the best players to ever play this game. It’s that simple. He does everything. The most important thing is he changes the way his teammates think about their own play. When you’re able to inspire your teammates to play at a level that sometimes they don’t even feel like they can play at, that’s a true testament of a great one,” James said about the Serbian superstar, per Michael Scotto.
Jokic, a two-time MVP, has been a dominant force this season, averaging 26.4 points, 12.4 rebounds, and 9 assists per game.
