Washington Wizards point guard Tyus Jones will enter unrestricted free agency this summer. While he expresses a desire to remain with the Wizards, he’s adamant about securing a starting role for the upcoming season.
“Anything can happen,” Jones said, “but [my family and I] love D.C., we want to be here, and I want to help this team continue to build and move in the right direction.”
Having started in all 66 games he played this season, Jones relishes the significance of being a full-time starter, a role he aims to maintain in the future.
“The plan is to be a starter,” Jones said when asked about his preferred role next season.
